[Troop 68] Pasta Dinner Kick-Off - This Fri., Jan. 16th

Hi Everyone,

 

As most of you know I've taken over for the honorable Mr. Chudy as adviser
for the pasta dinner. We're going to have a kick-off meeting this Friday
during the troop meeting to get all of the jobs doled out and get key
projects kicked-off, especially the ad-book sales. If you can't make it this
Friday, we'll be meeting regularly during the troop meeting going forward.

 

We need adults to help with a number of things before the dinner, including
ad sales, ticket sales, silent auction item collection, and production of
the ad booklets. The day of the dinner, we'll need help with setup of the
gym, food preparation, cleanup, setting up & monitoring the silent auction,
and lots of other things. None of these are huge tasks if everybody gets
involved, so the more volunteers we have, the better!

 

We've raised nearly $30,000 at the past 6 dinners to support the high
adventure trip fund, and let's make it even more this year. Thanks & hope to
see everyone Friday!
