Troop 68,
Our next camp out it is December 4,5,and 6 at Webb mountain. We will be
doing a service project for the park ranger spreading wood chips so please
come prepared with gloves rakes and if a few people could bring a
wheelbarrow that would be great. During the campout we will also have time
to meet to be sure that we are ready for the open house. Since we do not
have a meeting this week it is important that the patrol leaders talk to
their patrols and figure out their meal plan. This includes working out who
is going to be gear master and grub master. We expect each patrol to have a
meal plan ready by Thanksgiving. Please send the meal plan to and to Mr. A
for approval. In addition please tell Mr. A and Jeff who are going to serve
as your gear master and grub master.
Wednesday December 2nd is both gear return and gear pick up. If you have
gear and are not coming to the campout please be sure to bring it in on the
2nd so that your patrol will have the gear that they need on the campout.
If you need any gear please come to pick t up. We would like to know where
the gear is at all times so if you have something that you are going to hold
on to and take with you to the December campout then just contact Mike
Liskov or Mike LaMastra.
On December 6th we have an open house in the Church Gym from 1 to 4.
Right now we have ten things that we would like to have at the open house.
Some people have volunteered but we need everyone to help us recruit at the
open house. This is what we are planning:

Big Events (Seabase Maine etc)- *
Leadership (Basic troop info)- John Valus
Camping-*

How to Pack-(Mike Liskov)*
If there is something that you would like to do then contact Jeff. If there
is a * next to something then that means that it is open. We can always use
partners for the sections that are already assigned.
Our next meeting will be December 11 and will be Troop elections Jeff will
be running the elections. Please think about what position you would like
to hold in our troop for the next six months. In addition we will be taking
a vote on were the summer trip will be. The three places that are under
consideration are Glimmerglass state park in Cooperstown NY, Lancaster PA,
and Baltimore MA.
Our Court of Honor will be December 18th. Tom has offered to MC the court
but if someone needs this for the requirement for communications please step
up and you will be able to be the MC.
Each patrol are asked to bring something to the court.
