[Troop 68] Pasta Dinner Updates

Hi Everyone,

 

Wanted to send everyone an update on the Pasta Dinner. We are going to meet
this Friday, the 5th, during the troop meeting - please all parents attend
the meeting, we are really behind on the ad booklet sales and auction
donations, and we need all of the troop parents, especially all the new
parents to help out. So please don't just drop your son off tomorrow night,
please stay during the meeting and join us to talk about the Pasta Dinner.

 

A couple important notes:

-          Ad booklet - The dinner is much earlier this year and all ads
need to be in by mid next week so Phil LaMastra has time to layout the
booklet and we have time to get it printed before the dinner. Please come on
Friday, find out how you can get a couple last minutes ads from local
businesses or individuals and help make this most important part of the
dinner a success. Right now we are way down in ad sales versus last year.

-          Auction items - We are also way down in auction donations from
last year. Pat Terry who heads up the auction portion of the dinner asked me
to email everyone and plead for more stuff. We make the most money at the
dinner off the auction, and this won't happen if we don't get donations for
ALL of the families in the troop.

-          Tickets - I will be handing out the tickets tomorrow night to the
parents and youth during the meeting. It is very important that everyone get
their family, neighbors, and friends to come out to the dinner. The more
people we have the more successful the dinner and auction will be.
