[Troop 68] Pasta Dinner Update

Hi Everyone,

 

Couple minor updates on the pasta dinner:

-          The ad booklet is done, thanks for everyone working so hard on
getting the ads in on time.

-          Keep the donations of items to the silent auction coming into Pat
Terry, the list is starting to grow, but we still need more items.

-          Make sure you sell as many tickets as you can, I'll be collecting
money at the ski trip this weekend and next week at the meeting.

 

One important announcement: we're adding a twist to the pasta dinner this
year - Thomas Merton House, a soup kitchen and family support center in
Bridgeport, is in need of pasta sauce for their soup kitchen, and what
better place to show support for our community than with having a pasta
sauce collection at the pasta dinner. Bring a jar or two or five to the
dinner and help support a local community a organization. Be sure to tell
everyone you sold or gave tickets to bring jars of sauce also so we can
really have a great collection. We're going to keep the collection going
through the first few weeks of March and bring it to the shelter around
mid-month.
